This body of photographic work was created in response to the National Stone Centre and surrounding areas, the landscape, mining and quarry production history throughout the Derbyshire and Peak District area, together with the history of the Wirksworth Stone.
The work was presented using photographic Liquid Light Emulsion images on stone and slate, concentrating on detailed sections of the Wirksworth Stone: depicting similarities with local geological findings.
